Surreal Landscapes Made Out of Food

Carl Warner is a well experienced photographer who was born in Liverpool, England in 1963. In his childhood, Carl Warner spent most of his time in bedroom making drawings, listening music and creating worlds from his imagination. He is inspired by the posters on his room walls by artists such as Patrick Woodroofe, Salvador Dali and the work of Hipgnosis and the record sleeve designs of Roger Dean.

Carl Warner began his career as a photographer, working for many years in the advertising industry. In search of new inspiration, his professional journey starts when he saw the mushrooms on the market, as it seemed like the trees from another planet. They were his first meal photography and the start of a new and exciting direction to his career. Below is a small selection of food landscapes of Warner. Before you make the frame, the photographer does a significant amount of work to create such a real and at the same time, a fantastic landscape. Grab here the latest surreal food landscapes/ Foodscapes and be inspired.
