Fashion Festival “Jember Fashion Carnaval” in Indonesia

Resort city Jember in East Java, has become a real center of the merger of the local culture and fashion.  This city is getting popular because of their bright and unforgettable shows.

By tradition, the event takes place in August, when vacationers is not much time to enjoy the rest before work, and they tend to visit as many places of interest. On “Jember Fashion Carnaval” guests come to celebrate this event. Despite the status of the name, in the creation of costumes professional fashion designers do not participate in this event. Giant Floats Covered in Flowers at the Bloemencorso Zundert Floral Parade

Dutch town of Zundert, can rightly be considered as the host of the biggest parade of flower sculptures in the world. On Sunday, there was another parade with thousands of spectators. There are Hundreds of volunteers/participants, who work around the clock, pinning the dahlias onto the floats. The floats are made out of wire, papier-mâché, cardboard and entirely covered in thousands of dahlias grown specifically for the parade.

This year, the participating districts were just twenty. Now, Immediately talk about the winners. The first place was taken by a district called “Gekkengoud”, the creation is made by Laer-Akkermolen. The Gekkengoud name can be literally translated as "Crazy gold."

The World’s Biggest Gothic Festival "Wave Gotik Treffen 2013" in Pictures

"Wave Gotik Treffen" Festival is known as a world’s biggest Gothic Festival. This is a four days (17 to 18 May) festival that is celebrated in the German city of Leipzig. The festival was attended by about twenty thousand fans of youth subcultures. During the festival, the participants showed unusual costumes, festival program included a variety of activities such as reading, seminars, concerts, film screenings, fashion shows etc. Come here alone, to find like-minded people, groups, couples and even entire families. The festival of winds is held annually at the Australian beach “Bondi Beach”. This festival attracts more than 50,000 visitors from around the world. This year the festival was held at one of Sydney's most popular beaches, Bondi Beach. September 9 rushed up hundreds of kites of different sizes and shapes.
