National Audubon Society is one of the oldest and top environmental organizations in the world who recently has announced the photography winners of the photo contest Audubon Photography Awards 2016. Australian based photographer Leila Jeffreys captures spectacular portraits of Australian wild birds. She takes extremely expressive faces of birds with their personalities. Her adorable portraits look like a school work where you can pick out the jocks from the nerds.

Currently Leila Jeffrey’s photos are on display at Olsen Irwin Gallery in Sydney and another show coming up on November 20, 2014 at the Purdy Hicks Gallery in London.

Pigeon belongs to birds family. The wing length of pigeon is 20-27 cm and the weight 200-650 g. They are found in Eurasia, Africa and Australia . The most common type of Pigeon  is the "dove".

Pigeons have long been considered symbols of peace and love (and lovers often called "doves"), there are a lot of myths, legends, who glorify force pigeons lead to peace any situation. Cockatoo Portraits

Leila Jeffreys is a photographer and a great lover of birds. She was born in Sydney. Since childhood, Leila Jeffreys tried to help a variety of animals: saved and healed. Then she began to photograph them. Recently, she captures the pictures of Cockatoos. Cockatoos are one of the beautiful birds of Australia. A cockatoo looks like a parrot with many beautiful physical variations. They are all full of character and playfulness and are extremely intelligent birds.
