Photographer Claire Droppert Captures Absolutely Amazing Sand Creatures


Claire Droppert is a professional photographer who recently creates a wonderful series of pictures titled “Sand Creatures”. Claire says mostly times, mundane of actions can serve as impetus for art, transforming a simple gesture into a mesmerizing and incredible visual feast.

Claire Droppert writes on his official blog, "Whilst at our local beach, in the Netherlands, I saw my daughter playing and kicking sand up in the air," Droppert more explained "As she did this, I noticed the sunlight shine through and the resulting effect looked gorgeous. As gravity and light took control, I saw shapes of sand creatures being created."

The Wonderful Photographs of Arizona's White Pocket

There are so many natural wonders that can be found all around us. One is the White Pocket. White Pocket is a stretch of sand stone hidden in a desert in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument, near the Arizona border. Entire area was covered with a layer of sandstone is gray with a cracked texture. In some places, the rock layer that actually looks like a giant marble cake texture.

Miracle of the White Pocket is still difficult to explain. As reported Amusing-planet, some geologists say that the White Pocket is a result of the deformation of soft sediments. According to one retired geologist, Marc Deshowitz, he believes that this landscape is the result of the mass shift triggered by the earthquake. Most of the mass falling onto the slopes and tearing chunks of sand underneath. Massa eventually filled with sand or a large oasis. Marc has identified at least 25 of these features support the theory.
