The Wonderful Photographs of Arizona's White Pocket

There are so many natural wonders that can be found all around us. One is the White Pocket. White Pocket is a stretch of sand stone hidden in a desert in the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument, near the Arizona border. Entire area was covered with a layer of sandstone is gray with a cracked texture. In some places, the rock layer that actually looks like a giant marble cake texture.

Miracle of the White Pocket is still difficult to explain. As reported Amusing-planet, some geologists say that the White Pocket is a result of the deformation of soft sediments. According to one retired geologist, Marc Deshowitz, he believes that this landscape is the result of the mass shift triggered by the earthquake. Most of the mass falling onto the slopes and tearing chunks of sand underneath. Massa eventually filled with sand or a large oasis. Marc has identified at least 25 of these features support the theory.
