Miracle of Nature: The Amazing White Water Terraces in China

If you are interested in China's rural fraught with a thousand miracles. One of these is Baishui Tableland or White Water Terraces, known as the stunning limestone formations. It is located in the foothills of the Haba Snow Mountains, near about 62 miles from southeast of the Shangri-la County. Baishuitai is the largest limestone terraces in China. The pools of water flowing through Haba Hill emerged that the limestone cliffs and certain minerals has created a slight acidity, which in some places dissolved in the soft rock, and established the stepped structure. The surrounding green mountains and the white terraces make a wonderful contrast with each other.


 The almost blindingly bright natural wonder of the Tibetans in the area is considered sacred. The Tibetan Bon religion evolved Dong religion’s holy land. The followers have their own language and script of the Nazi believe that the religion's founder, Dong, seeing this wonderful landscape, settled here, and they began to proclaim the doctrine. Every second of the eighth lunar month collected on the day of White water terraces, dancing and singing and celebrating. Looking at the wonderful scenery there is nothing surprising that Baishuitai such a central role.
