Ellery Gutierrez is a talented illustrator from Aragua State, Venezuela.  He was born on September 1, 1969 in Maracay. From small tilts artistic design inspired by the Renaissance paintings of the Old Italian masters like Caravaggio, who saw in the books of art, where light, shadow and a figure well made steal your attention. He started drawing portraits and figures. Resides in Caracas, he entered the drawing and painting atelier of Professor José Antonio Aranaz, in January 1992 until 1995, during the three years studied only artistic drawing (Still Life). In 1997-1998 continued with Professor Joseph A. Aranaz and studied oil painting (Still Life). Now he is living and working in Caracas Ellery.
