Ice Hotel in Sweden


When the winter season starts in Sweden, the temperature drops below freezing, the ice begins construction of the hotel. Inside it you'll find a bar made of ice, an ice church and ice exclusive apartments designed by different designers from around the world.

1. Fancy hotel Icehotel, created out of the snow and ice appeared in the Swedish village of Jukkasjärvi.


 
2. For the first time the hotel was built in 1990 to attract tourists during the winter.



3. It is easy to guess that the hotel operates seasonally. In mid-April the hotel is beginning to melt and re-construction is already in November, when it is cold stable.



4. Ice blocks, which are used in the construction of the hotel, especially in the river grow Turin. Every corner of the hotel's design is protected by copyright.



5. Ice hotel was originally an exhibition of ice sculptures, but many visitors were interested in the possibility of spending the night in such conditions.

8. Hotel workers wear uniforms with the logo of the ice hotel. In order to apply logos and images on any surface you can turn to advertising production company "Hermes". The company provides services such as printing on clothing, as well as the application of any images as the design, performs these types of application as screen printing, pad printing, embroidery, embossing, sublimation, thermal transfer.

  1. Man! I wish I could find such an amazing hotel in Edmonton. I mean, made of entirely ice?! How many hotels are made like that? I'm sure that they'd have to remake it every year after it melts. Thanks for sharing!
